MANGALA Wall Putty

Mangala Wall Putty is a white cement based product with redispersible polymer and functional additives for application on interior and exterior rough plasters to give a smooth finish.

HOW TO APPLY

SURFACE PREPARATION

All Surfaces should be between 40°F (4°C) and 90°F (32°C) temp. It should be free from all dirt, oil, grease, loose sand particles. If it is old painted wall/lime washed wall then first scratch old surface. Dry and absorbent surfaces should be moistened/pre wet with clean water.

MIXING

Use approximately 8 to 10 L of fresh water for 20 kg MANGALA WALL PUTTY. I.e. Water to Powder ratio is approx. 40:100. Mix thoroughly till uniform (free from bubbles and lumps) paste occurs. Allow paste to slake for 5-10 minutes. Adjust consistency if necessary. Remix and apply with putty blades.

APPLICATION

Apply two coats of MANGALA WALL PUTTY on the substrate with maximum total thickness 1.5mm with the putty blades. Ensure that the second coat application should be done when the first coat is totally dried/after 3hrs.
Always prepare a required quantity of putty paste and use it within 2-3 hrs.
To remove unevenness/application mark and to make glossy surfaces before applying paint use water proof emery paper more than 500 number

SHELF LIFE

Factory sealed containers of this product are guaranteed to be of first quality for nine (9) months. If stored off the ground in a dry area, then high humidity will reduce the shelf life of bagged product.

CAUTIONS

Though it contains nontoxic material but still care should be taken to avoid dust inhalation while mixing and handling. In case of contact with eyes or mouth, flush thoroughly with plenty of water.
Do not take internally. Avoid breathing dust.
Keep out of reach of children.

LIMITATIONS

Do not directly apply on the fungus and moss affected areas.
Do not apply directly on the dust, loosely bonded particles, oil, Grease etc. affected surfaces.
• Note: Surfaces must be two coated cement and smooth plaster, structurally sound and stable.
